YOU CAN MAKE THAT SALE AND REGISTER THE BRIDE PROPERLY:
Need help in handling the discourteous customer? The silent
customer? How to close a sale? This chapter is for you.
THE HISTORY OF DINNERWARE: Learn all about it. Is it pottery?
Porcelain? China?
THE HISTORY OF FLATWARE: Learn the different types - sterling…stainless…plated…and
creative ways to use each piece.
THE HISTORY OF STEMWARE: Learn the difference between
glass and crystal…crystal and lead crystal. Why does glass
shatter? You'll be surprised at that answer.
THE HISTORY OF GIFTWARE: Learn the importance of giftware
and some of the most popular companies.
THE MAGIC OF TABLETOPS: Learn the components of a table
setting, which way the knife blade is turned, how to relate
the settings to a theme and new ideas to share with your
brides and customers.
After studying each assignment, complete the questionnaire
and return to NBS for grading. Upon satisfactory completion
of the six assignments, you will be awarded a certificate
suitable for framing. Most of all, you will have background
product knowledge that will give you added confidence
when working with brides and your customers.
This course is offered by the National Bridal Service,
an organization dedicated to training bridal consultants
since 1951.
