Designer: Felix van Driem

Felix van Driem, a couturier who studied at Virginia Commonwealth University and in Paris, France, where he completed highly specialized training at L'Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, rounded out his education by apprenticing at Pierre Balmain. He moved to Holland where he started in haute couture. Upon his return to the States, he established his own maison de couture for both men's and women's apparel. The Valentine Museum honored him by including his Faberge Ball Gown in its permanent collection.
